The electrician you recommended did a great job of changing our 220 from a 3 wire system to a 4 wire system, and he even replaced another breaker we were having trouble with. Your manual is very complete and I learned some things about the details of the pumps and systems that I didn’t know before. Wind River Spas told us about ozone filters and we were excited. We are very "green" and didn't like the idea of sitting in chemicals. After researching some more on the internet, we ordered our tub. It was finished on time, delivered on time, and the guys showed us everything we needed to know about the maintenance. Rick has called and e-mailed several times to make sure we were happy with thew spa and to see if we had any questions. I would recommend Wind River Spas to anyone looking for a hot tub, especially if you want fewer chemicals in your life. We use it daily.

04/02/2018 We did a lot of research prior to deciding on Wind River Spas and all of the glowing reviews we read proved to be accurate. As prior hot tub owners, we were very well aware of a lot of the problems hot tubs owners can run into.  We love our new Wind River spa - it is all we had hoped for an more. We are equally impressed with the quality of the product and the people who work for Wind River. All of the folks we dealt with were so helpful, professional, and informative. From our initial visit to the showroom to the delivery of the spa, we could not have asked for a better experience. Both my husband and I have some pretty significant back problems related to spinal injuries and surgeries. We also are facing general aches and pains from getting older (not that old yet, but we know that this is not going to get better in the future). We have been using our hot tub every day since it arrived and both of us have noticed that we feel better and have been sleeping better. As prior hot tub owners, we were well aware of some of the major problems hot tub owners face - leaks that can not be repaired, the cost to run many hot tubs, and the difficult task of draining and cleaning some hot tubs. Wind River spas are designed to solve the leak and cleaning issues and are so well insulated that they are much less expensive to operate. Based on our experiences with our old hot tub, we had given up on having a hot tub. But as we started having more physical problems, and after my physical therapist suggested that using a hot tub would likely help with my recovery and rehab from an additional recent back surgery, we decided to try to find a hot tub company that built a high-quality product that would not have the types of problems we had with our old hot tub. We were sold on Wind River when we discovered that these spas are constructed so that if there is a leak, it can be easily fixed. They are also well built for our Colorado climate and are very well insulated for much lower energy use. We have also been quite impressed with the design - the number of powerful jets and their locations provide for a full body massage, including our necks, which is something our old hot tub did not have. We have already recommended Wind River Spas to friends who are starting to think about getting a hot tub. I tell them to not waste their time looking at other companies - just head to the Wind River showroom and be prepared to be impressed. Thanks.

6/1/13 My first contact with WindRiver Spas was over the phone. Rick answered my call. He asked what I was looking for. I told him that I had back problems and was interested in power jets not huge numbers of jets. He carefully explained how therapeutic the WindRIver tub was and invited me to the showroom. Now this is my 4th hot tub, so I have seen a few hot tub operations. When my wife and I walked into WIndRIver, we were amazed by the showroom. Just hot tubs...no barbeque's or pool tables or patio sets...just hot tubs. A real first class showroom! Rick introduced himself and showed us the the tubs. I wanted something small for a deck off of our bedroom. We looked at several possible tubs. There was no hype or high pressure from Rick. He just wanted to take care of us in a most professional manner...and he did. He came out to our home to inspect the deck to be sure it would be safe. He recommended adding an additional support , which I did. A week later the tub was delivered by WindRiver. The delivery men were polite and they knew what they were doing. The hot tub was up and running within an hour! It has been a couple of months now since delivery. Rick has called and emailed twice to make sure we were happy with the tub and it was working well. Gayle and I have completely enjoyed the "WindRiver" experience! Professional, polite and experts at what they do. As far as we are concerned their high level of service and quality of their tubs cannot be topped. We know how important referrals are to any business. Rick and WindRIver will get our referrals, for sure.

It's been a week now since we received our new Wind River Spa and I wanted to take just a second to share our complete satisfaction with how we were treated every step of the way. It was important to me to use a Colorado company if I could because I was certain my experience would be as important to you as it was to me. I was right. It all started with Zach at the showroom who was generous with his time and made sure we understood everything about the choices we had in building our own spa. He never tried to sell us more than we needed but made us comfortable with the process and smarter along the way. And then Wind River crew that showed up at the house to take out our old hot tub and deliver the new was amazing! The day they came there was about a foot of snow on the ground at our house yet from the minute they got out of the truck until the moment they left they were smiling and making sure we were educated on filling and using our new spa and their positive attitude on a less than desirable day made us all feel better!! And oh yea, we've been using the spa for almost a week now and we LOVE IT!!! It is everything we hoped for and more and we sure are seeing the kids and grandkids more often!!!! 10/12/2015 Hi Rick, Everything went great with the spa installation. The team that came up was very professional. Right from the start they put me at ease, letting me know it would be easy for them to get the spa off the truck and into place. My electrician wasn't able to come until Saturday morning, so they were very thorough explaining what I would need to do. I had already downloaded the users manual, so I was able to follow the instructions really well. They were a great team! I'm really happy with the spa. Here's a few things that really stood out though. - the cover and lifter work really well - much easier than I had expected - the control panel was a lot easier than I thought it would be - I can even read it without my glasses! - the ability to open and close jets is a great feature also. I am very pleased with your company. From meeting you at your Englewood location and placing an order, all of the way through installation, you have all done top notch work. I really feel that I've got a whole lot more of a spa than I had anticipated at a lower cost than I had planned! Thanks again for everything!

11/20/09 Rick, We've now enjoyed the hot tub for almost two months and the more we use it the more we love it. It is so much better than our previous spa which we had for 12 years --and we had thought we had gotten the best back then. Now we know what the best is. 2/28/16 My experience: We purchased our hot tub three years ago and have nothing but praises for the buying process and your product.  There is never a smell of chlorine, and the tub has been totally reliable until recently.  I called and received very courteous help from Justin via the phone which seemed to fix the problem. He was always available or returned my calls very quickly and had a positive and helpful attitude. The problem recurred two weeks later and he immediately sent Tom, a technician, to find and remedy the problem.  Tom was also very courteous and efficient.  The circulating pump was replaced and the spa is working as intended. This is my second hot tub.  You took away the old one and the installation of the new one was faultless.  It is nice to deal with a local firm and very helpful and friendly people.  I would gladly recommend your firm. We have enjoyed many evenings and nights relaxing in the spa, enjoying the stars and moon (we live in the foothills) letting the warm water and jets melt away our tensions and sore muscles.

We bought our spa with Wind River and love it. The jets are strong and there are plenty of them. Wind River’s customer service can’t be beat. We felt like our business was valued from sale to install to follow up. If you have questions, they are there for you. If you live in Colorado, it’s really nice to use a local company who understands our needs. Highly recommend.  

8/24/14 Everything about our experience with your Wind River Spas has been first rate and positive. Rick, the owner, personally made the purchasing process easy and pressure-less. The installation crew was excellent. They were extremely efficient, coordinated perfectly with the crane that we needed to place the tub on our deck, with our electrician to make sure everything worked properly, and with us, to make sure we understood how to operate our tub, and how to get the most enjoyment from it. Post installation follow up has been excellent as well. For us, selecting a hot tub was an important decision. First, our home in Breckenridge is at an elevation of about 10,700 ft, requiring a product designed to perform well, in that harsh environment. Next since we rent our home when we are not personally using it, we needed a tub that would be very inviting for our guests, and would look great, and be extremely reliable with regular use. I am pleased to say, that after 2 years of use we believe the Wind River spa we selected has really hit the mark at every level. It has proven easy to use and maintain, providing a great après ski experience in winter, and a relaxing spot to wind down the day in summer. We have had no problems with it at all, and our utility bills have been quite reasonable, even through this past winter which was one of the harshest on record. It even it comes with a rubber ducky! We are very happy with our purchase, and can enthusiastically recommend Wind River to others.

Kevin was awesome! He clearly explained all the options for personalizing our spa, was very patient and personable. He was the reason we purchased from Wind River. Set up crew did a great job! They were friendly and professional. Communication regarding any questions as well as making sure we were satisfied was stellar. Having had spas in Florida, none compared to our new Wind River. 9/30/13 Rick, Allene and I are very pleased with our new hot tubs. Justin could not have done a better job for you in explaining the workings/advantages of a Wind River Spa. Being in sales myself I appreciated how he did not try to tear down the other folks but spent the time explaining your product to us. Taking on the effort to get the tub to us quickly was very nice but the quality that we saw in the product and Justin's knowledge were our decision makers not the fact that we got the tub so quickly. Nelson and his team were extremely professional and once again product knowledge showed in the way they went about their job and their customer interface could not have been better. 5/11/2018 Rick, I used the hot tub for the first time this morning and It was awesome! The young man that went over the instructions that was in charge of the install was a great help. I was surprised when he said he would be willing to stay at my house until the tub filled up and he would start it. I told him no thank you and that shows a deep dedication to your company. Delivery was flawless, the crew was polite, clean and knowledgeable. The crew cleaned up everything before they left. They had work to do and they did a fine job. 12/12/2014 Rick, I have to begin by telling you that I have had a spa for the last 14 years and that this spa was part of the sale when I purchased my home. I had never owned one before and was somewhat excited about having one. Fast forward 14 years, the old one gave out and prior to it giving out, I had grown tired of dealing with its up keep. Multiple covers due to the dog, countless chemicals and filter changes and given its size and shape, not a lot of interest in using it since it only had 8 jets. This summer it became time to either replace it or just get rid of it. So my research began since I had never actually purchased one before. I spent hours researching on the web, stopping by retail shops, etc. Then one day I found your companies you tube videos about how your spas are different. I watched all of the videos you have and called you up. Justin is the sales person I spoke with and after talking with him I came by your showroom on Galapago and had a longer discussion with Justin, I explained to him that I had a budget number and was going to have to stick to it. This led us to the refurbished side of your business. There was nothing in stock at the time, but we agreed to keep in touch and he would let me know when something came in. Late last month, I was checking back in with Justin and he gladly informed me that a few had come in. So after meeting with him again and going through the inventory, I was able to select one that was in my price range. We scheduled the wet test and delivery and we received our spa on Friday the 21st of November. The spa is working great and is everything I had hoped for. The pickup and delivery guys were fantastic, very courteous and were on time. They were efficient in their duties all the while entertaining my banter. Justin was and continues to be very professional and attentive and it is clear that customer service is very important to him. I own a service business and this alone is what makes or breaks a business since quality of customer service is what sets you apart. Please look up my order to see who picked up and delivered and make sure they know that I appreciate their level of service. Since the delivery, I stopped in one Saturday to pick up some chemical and although Justin was not there, the person that helped me was just as fantastic. Since I have been working with your company, I continue to tell my story to anyone that will listen as I have built my business on referrals and I fully appreciate the value in building good customer relationships. 12/26/2018 We had been thinking about purchasing a spa since this summer, and before visiting Wind River we looked at products from their competitors. We were really having a hard time making a decision until we walked into the Wind River Spas showroom. Tyler greeted us immediately, answered all of our questions, and we walked out feeling great about our purchase. Customer service has been top-notch, delivery was on-time and friendly, and we love our new spa! We will recommend Wind River Spas to all of our (now jealous) friends and neighbors.

We contacted Wind River with several questions before and after we placed our order, the people at Wind River were very responsive and answered all of our questions. They were able to deliver it to us in Colorado Springs in remarkable time. Since we have gotten it, everyday has been like a vacation in our backyard. 12/1/2014 Rick, The Vitalizer...one year later. I'm impressed! Everything your company has advertised regarding the merits and ease of operation of your hot tubs we've found to be true. Debra and I use our Vitalizer 2-3 times weekly for an hour at a time (sometimes longer). We're both active outdoors people...returning home to our Vitalizer after mountain biking, skiing, tennis, hiking, etc is always a treat. We both work and play hard; sitting in our tub with strong jets massaging tired muscles while enjoying a glass of wine is something we never tire of. It helps that the La PLata Mountains rise in the backdrop. As advertised, your set-up crew arrived at our home outside of Cortez on time. They efficiently went about their work setting up the tub while our electrician did his simple install. The crew stayed to answer our questions and demonstrate the tub's operation. The free delivery of a Colorado-made tub was one of the factors that clinched the deal when we were considering our options. The quality of the tub and the price could not be beat. We have only needed to change the water once in the past year. A teaspoon of shock after each soak has been the ONLY maintenance....simply amazing! No added chemicals, no chlorine smell....only clean, clear, therapeutic waters! Thanks, Rick. It has been a pleasure working with you and your staff.

10/07/2020 This may be a long review, but I really wanted to detail our great experience with Wind River. After moving we decided a new hot tub was in order. Left a 20 year old Jacuzzi behind at the old house. First place we went was to a “tent sale”. That was an appropriate name since it was like a circus. Incredibly overpriced hot tubs and a salesman who was a “clown”. High pressure to the max. So, I began an online search. First thing that bothered me was a lack of online pricing except at the “big box” stores. And almost every unit at those places were out of stock and I REALLY had concerns about some freight truck just dropping a super heavy spa in the driveway and leaving. So, a company that would deliver the spa was important to me. I had heard of Wind River many times since I am a Colorado native. I always thought they would be way out of my price range due to their reputation. Surprise, surprise! The wife and I “built” a spa on their website and at the end there was the exact pricing. Affordable for our budget and way lower than at the “tent sale circus”. So, we placed the order and put down the refundable deposit. With everyone stuck at home there is a waiting line for spas. And a refundable deposit was obviously a win win situation. Wanting to see the spas in person we went to the showroom in Englewood a couple of weeks later. Glad we did since we found my wife is short and had trouble stepping into the spa we chose even with the stairs. We talked to the sales rep on the floor and downgraded to a smaller spa. Simple, easy and no argument even though the spa we changed into was much less expensive than the one we originally ordered. A couple of weeks spent pouring a concrete pad and having the electrical installed and we were ready and waiting for our delivery. I thought I would call to let them know we were ready in case they had any cancellations, and we were in luck. Rick Hallett, the owner, said just that morning he had received an email from a customer wishing to put off their delivery for three weeks. He went to the trouble of changing the production order so our spa could be built and delivered almost a month earlier than originally scheduled. It is definitely a good idea to call Wind River if you are prepared early, they just might be able to move up your delivery date. Had several email conversations with Rick before the delivery and he was always super responsive and answered all my questions. The delivery itself went incredibly smoothly. The delivery crew consisted of Rick’s son Zach (discovered this truly is a family business) and another young man named Cody. They were friendly, efficient and had the spa placed in no time. We began filling while my electrician, who was onsite for the delivery, hooked up the spa. Then Zach went through a really comprehensive explanation of the control panel and answered any questions we had as the spa went through its startup sequence and Cody assembled the cover lifter. I would highly recommend purchasing the cover lifter…the cover itself is extremely well made with really thick foam and isn’t a light piece of equipment to move around if you’re older like we are. The spa itself is fabulous as well as beautiful! The jets are super powerful compared to my old Jacuzzi. The seating areas are well designed and comfortable. We have used it every night since it was delivered, and the water is still crystal clear with just following the instructions of adding a teaspoon of the dy-chlor. To sum it all up you can’t go wrong buying a spa from Wind River. This has probably been the best experience we have ever had in purchasing a fairly large ticket item. Setup was super easy, delivery guys were fast, professional, and knowledgeable. Tub looks great, everything works exactly how I was told it would. Bluetooth sounds awesome.

8/30/09 Rick, Just got out of the hot tub! Thank you for taking care of me once again and I wanted you to know that your crew did an excellent job on delivery. They answered all of my questions and I think the installation of the tub went very smoothly which is a credit to you and your staff. Matt installed the lights for the ice bucket and the tub looks very cool at night. I am planning on having my neighbors over soon for a Fall get together and I will be sure to recommend them to you if they are interested in a Hot Tub. 4/5/11 Hey Rick, Just wanted to drop you a line to express how happy I am with my spa purchase. I began my search mid 2008, and Wind River Spas was my first stop. I really liked what I saw, but the spas were a little more than I was planning on spending, so I started looking around. Well, after seeing what was out there, and what other people were asking for much inferior spas, I decided to come back to Wind River. Man, am I glad I did. I'm going on three years now, and have had absolutely no trouble with the spa. I'm in it almost every night. I am not only in love with my spa, your customer service is second to none. In fact, I remember calling right after it was installed to ask about proper maintenance, you were the one that answered, and you spent a very long time with me on the phone explaining every aspect of care and maintenance. Not once did you sound impatient. I hung up the phone knowing I had chosen the right company. If the owner is willing to spend that kind of time with me, that impressed me. Since then, I have spoken to numerous people at Wind River and everyone shares your dedication to excellent customer service. And, speaking of maintenance, it has been ten times easier than I ever dreamed. Plain and simple, I'm convinced Wind River Spas has the absolute best product and customer service on the planet. 6/28/11 Hi Rick, Your delivery team did an excellent job today. They even put my fence back in place which was not part of the deal. They were not only on time--they were early. The electrician showed up as promised, and everything is working great. We are just headed off to bed after our first night soaking in our very own Windriver Spa. I love the fact that you are a local manufacturer and your customer service is beyond compare.We are looking forward to years of enjoyment. 3/15/13 I now own 2 Windriver spas. The first one was purchased in 2009 for my loft in downtown Denver. It is located on a new private rooftop deck in LoDo. Sitting in the tub there are great views of the city skyline as well as Coors Field one block away. I had such a great experience dealing with Rick and company at Windriver, I decided to replace my Cal-Spa at my place in Frisco in 2012. Again picking out a new tub was a pleasure and everyone made the delivery to the mountains extremely easy. They arranged the crane to put the tub on my new deck and the delivery personnel helped place the tub so the view would be enjoyable from all seats in the tub. After a few months the tub needed a couple items fixed. I called thinking it would take a couple weeks for a service tech to arrive. Windriver was at my place the next day and repaired the unit while I was skiing. Being a small business owner I deal with hundreds of different vendors. Unfortunately, most vendors do not understand customer service like Rick and Windriver. From the quality of the products to the great customer service, Windriver sets itself apart from the other spa manufacturers. I regularly recommend Windriver to anyone that is thinking about purchasing a hot tub. It is not surprising I have 2 friends with Windriver Spas.

4/10/2014 Our Wind River Hot Tub is by far the best hot tub we have ever been in. It is intelligently designed; from the ozone filter which requires no chemicals, to the wonderful placement of the jets, to the hand grips that really are helpful. Wind River delivered and set up our tub last week where we live on a mountain lot. The crew, led by Dominic, was so synchronized and efficient that it was amazing watching them. They off-loaded the spa on its side on a sled to drag up our flagstone walkway. They took such great care to roll out an extremely long runner to protect the stone. The crew looked like they were moving stones for the pyramids in Egypt. Slowly and carefully, they pushed/pulled the spa on its sled (avoiding using a crane) up to its resting place on the upslope deck on our house. Once positioned, they slowly let it down. Immediately, the crew went into a fast break with each member doing what they were trained to do to set up the tub and then check out the entire system for me. I was so impressed with the professionalism of the crew and the quality of the tub. We are so happy that it arrived just before the snow up here. BTW, I am unrelated to WR and was provided no incentive or remuneration to write this review. Simply, WR is the best spa manufacturer here in CO. 8/16/2017 Dear Wind River Team, Our daughter, sons and grandsons twisted our arms until we agreed to check into having a hot tub installed, several days of on-line window shopping and a few trips to local spa dealers did not make us hot tub owners. One stop at Wind River Spas and one hour with Tyler was all that it took for us to make our decision. By the way it has been one of our best decisions, next to, moving to Evergreen Co. From the initial site visit, area prep (by yours truly), pouring of the pad, final install, which required crane to get the tub close to the pad, we were soaking in the tub in less than 30 days. Everyone is happy! The Wind River team has been absolutely great to work with on all fronts, sales, service and management support. Best decision by far to purchase from the manufacturer, take their tour and rest / soak assured.

10/25/2019 This is our second Wind River Spa. The first one was purchased 13 years ago so decided it was as time for an upgrade. After doing the research & price shopping again I determined that Wind River was the best tub comparing the quality & features of all the others out there. Rick & his team deliver a quality product backed by superior customer service. The delivery team is top notch. They do an amazing job getting the tub safely through some tight spaces into its well placed spot. Rick came up with the deck design configuration for it after his sight visit when we purchased our first spa. I still start every morning sitting in the Adirondack seat of the spa looking out into the mountain side. This morning the electric was out for two hours with over a foot of snow sitting on the cover of the tub. When the electricity came back on, I immediately went out to check the temperature of the tub. It was 102-right where I had it set. The improvements made in the last 13 years including the amazing insulating quality are well noted.

1/15/2018 Our house in the mountains is on well water, and even with prefiltering the water to fill up the tub, it had come in quite murky. I let the filtering system and ozonator run for 36 hours, and when I came back the water was crystal clear. I would recommend Wind River Spas to anyone with well water that needs significant filtering before hot tubbing.

8/10/2015 Rick, Victor, Nick, & John just left and I wanted to let you know that they were extremely professional and handled our hot tub with skill and care that I'm sure will result in years of happy use and no nicks, dents, or chips, that I'm sure you've experienced on installation at one time or another over the years. They really exhibited "teamwork" when rolling the tub on the cart up and around the path and again when lowering and positioning the tub for it's spot. Victor really communicated well throughout the installation and all 3 showed interest in what Gail and I thought as far as how it finally sat on the pad and any questions regarding installation. Wind River Spas proves there is still a business that delivers a great product and where customer service drives its action. I would give them 5 stars for their product and customer service. Tub damage was noticed shortly after installation. One phone call and a couple of pictures later, Wind River said it would send a new tub, without me even saying a word. There was no push back. Wind River accepted full responsibility, apologized for the issue and put me in the front of the line for building a new custom tub to replace the damaged one. They did everything to remove the old one, and replaced it with the new one. I just added water and turned it on. Right from the initial install, there was excellent communication from delivery reminders to reaching out on day of delivery (which was on time). There was also follow up communication, making sure everything was to my satisfaction during deliver/install and to answer any questions relating to use and operation. This continued for the reinstall as well. The tub itself (Steamboat model) is great, it has been easy to use and maintain. The jets are well placed with good options and strong streams of water/air for hydrotherapy. Control console is easy to understand and use, and the lighting options provide great functionality. I would highly recommend Wind River Spas for its great product, excellent customer support, and willingness to honor its promises and guarantees.

Thanks so much to Nathan and his amazing crew. Because a crane could not be used to install our spa, they had to slide it down the hill on to a lower deck, across the lower deck, up a flight of stairs onto the upper deck and then set it on a platform below the level of the deck. They did all this in snow! Before that, they had to remove our old hot tub through the same route. Nathan proved that he was the man who could figure out how to make it work. Again, thanks to Nathan and his crew for their very hard work under difficult conditions. I think they could install a spa just about anywhere! We absolutely love this spa and highly recommend Wind River.

11/13/13 Hi Rick, I wanted to send a note and photo to let you know how much we love our Wind River Spa. We have used it 5-6 days a week for almost 3 months now and are very happy with it! We have the Sierra model but added a few extra jets, which is one thing we absolutely loved - the ability to customize this to our specific needs. As an avid runner and hiker, the calve jets that we added are some of my personal favorites. It's been so nice to spend family time from our spa - my kids love the light and waterfall, and of course practicing cannonballs and underwater flips! We have had a few guests comment that it is the nicest hot tub they have ever been in. We will recommend Wind River without hesitation. 7/1/2015 Rick, I wanted to tell you that your installation team (Bobby, Ray and Nick) did an excellent job! They had to remove a heavy, old Marquis spa from our deck and the workload didn't phase them. We were relieved that we didn't have to hire a crane to do the job. They set up our new Vitalizer in a timely manner and explained all the details of operation. They were all courteous, hard working, and efficient! We really appreciated all of their efforts in installing our new spa. We have really been enjoying our new hot tub. I love the color combinations of the Tuscan Sun interior and Teak skirt. I was also glad I could pick the color of my cover. I chose the tan because it would show less dirt/pollen than a darker color. My husband and I had visited several stores looking at all the different kinds of spas out there.  As he was doing some research we found Wind River Spas. He was very impressed by what he read. So we headed down to their Englewood store.  We both like the fact that Wind River Spas use very little chemicals in their spas. Which we saw as a HUGE plus!  My husband has a bad back which is why we were in the market for a spa. Zach greeted us when we walked into the store. Having had our hot tub for only a week we have thoroughly enjoyed it!  My husband uses it 3 times a day! I enjoy it the most in the evening with the lights and water fountain on. Thanks again to Wind River Spas. We bought our Steamboat model in the fall of 2016. Our WRS experience started with Tyler in sales. He was great and answered so many questions so we could make a pretty educated purchase, particularly on how WRS stacked up against the competition. The delivery process was seamless. I had our electrician present during the delivery and your team made it look easy. They even came back to make some minor cover adjustments for free since I changed my mind on the location of the lift. Our cabin is at 10,200 feet and in a pretty remote area outside Leadville Colorado and your team scheduled it quickly with no hassle. We have had no service issues since. The filtering system is no joke. I have numerous friends with hot tubs and they are always messing around with chemicals and adjusting treatments. I literally do nothing to our tub except changing/rinsing the filter as recommended and shocking it after each use, again as recommended. For times when we do not visit the cabin for 4-8 weeks, I simply add a floaty that slowly dispenses small round chlorine tablets so there is at least some treatment during long absences. I put the floaty on the lowers setting. If I used the tub weekly, there would be no need for the floaty. My water is crystal clear all the time and we even used well water to fill it. Amazingly simple to maintain. Recently, the tub freeze warranty was tested. It had been about 4-5 weeks since I was at the cabin. The power goes off frequently in this area. Normally everything resets and there are no issues. But, sometimes there are surges when it comes back on which can trip our hot tub breaker. I showed up last weekend and the tub was hovering around 32-33 degrees with nothing freezing. I was amazed. My guess is the power went off weeks ago. I flipped the breaker and the warmup cycle started right back up. By the next day I was enjoying the hot tub at a comfy 102 degrees with our amazing views of the Sawatch Range. Doesn’t get much better and I would highly recommend WRS to anyone! Thanks again to you, Tyler and your team.

8/15/13 We love the spa! We use it at least once a day. Every time we use it we say it is one of the best investments we ever made. I heard nightmare stories about people buying used spas to save a few bucks and install it themselves, and I didn't want to deal with that mess. So I relied on Wind River to do everything - deliver, install, electrical, the works. The price was reasonable for the work and we got a great discount on a brand new spa for buying off-season. We definitely recommend Rick and Wind River Spas!

7/15/2016 I’m sending you an email to let you know that Mary and I are so happy with our Wind River Spa.. I don’t know if you remember or not but the last spa/Hot tub that we had, I owned that thing for 18 years. As you said yourself, thats an eternity for a hot tub. With that Spa I was constantly chasing the chemical balance of the thing, PH up, PH down, Algicide, Bromine, Etc. I tried my best to keep it in check but when we got out of it you could still feel the chemicals on your skin and we smelled like we just got out of a public pool. With our Wind River spa I do almost none of that stuff. We enjoy our spa almost every evening and when we get out I put a small amount or Dy Chlor in it and were good to go. Now when we get out our skin feels softer and there is no harsh chemical smell. Had I known that owning a Spa could be this easy I would have bought this 10 years ago.! Once again we want to say thanks to you and all the guys for giving us a great buying experience and an AWSOME SPA..! Thanks

I wanted to take a few moments to share with you our experience with our recent purchase of two of your great spas. I haveowned a spa for years that finally needed replacement while Marta is a new owner. The Timberline is great. It’s my second Wind River in 11 years and wont be my last. Everyone at Wind River is knowledgeable and great to deal with. Tyler was patient and great to deal with even though I changed the color twice. The delivery crew was great as well and was patient as we located the hot tub on the deck, allowing me to drill thru the floor pan and deck to route the wiring up from below the deck. I’ve had 2 spas delivered and one moved and stored between houses. All experiences were good….not the norm for most companies today. Thanks!

Hey Rick, Your service guy was awesome!. He stayed in touch with me all through the process we had to go through here with some electrical issues we had that had nothing to do with you guys, but was related to our service panel. After all that was resolved, he called us last night after he got home (on Friday night) just to make sure we were okay. We are very impressed, though not surprised, because we had done lots of research on your company before we bought, and knew your customers were very high on your customer service. They were right! 4/15/2021 It's been about 4 weeks since we took delivery of our new WindRiver Spas hot tub. The web option to completely customize and choose colors to see exactly what you will get was fantastic; it was also very cool to get a video of our actual hot tub "being born" during the manufacturing process! The guys who delivered the hot tub were careful and methodical, and really took their time to ensure everything was set up just right while being very respectful of our property. The hard part was having to wait for the water to heat up before we got to use it! Everything is amazing about this hot tub - the amount of jets, the powerful motors, the abundant lighting and the very cool built-in Bluetooth sound system. The ergonomics of each seat position ensures that every part of our bodies can get a relaxing massage, while thoughtful touches like the champagne bucket and strategically placed cup holders are very well thought out. I can only describe the experience as "medicinal" - seriously this thing can melt the stress of a busy workday away like nothing else! We keep finding every excuse to take a dip. The quality of everything is very evident as well - it runs quiet and smooth, and the touch interface is very user friendly while also allowing us to customize all of the light zones, etc. Based on our experience, from configuring our model online through delivery to the user experience, I HIGHLY recommend Windriver Spas to anyone considering making this purchase - you will not go wrong working with WindRiver Spas and I guarantee you are going to love your new hot tub. Love the hot tub. Great job by the install team. Kevin was great on the sales side, helpful and answered all our questions. He got everything done quickly and efficiently. After a couple of years of trying to keep my old spa alive, I was finally confronted with the inevitable need to get rid of it. I really did not want a new spa but shopping on Craig's List or other sites for a used one did not appeal to me at all. I had thoughts of just not replacing the spa so before I made that decision, I spoke to Rick Hallett at Wind River Spas, who had been helping me keep my old unit alive. He told me that they sold refurbished spas that were very nice and were very affordable. I was nervous about what Refurbished meant, so I visited his factory in Lafayette and met Kevin who oversees the operation there, to see for myself what they were doing, which left satisfied that I would get something that would be as good as new. I spoke to my family and they thought we should go ahead and price out a unit, which I did and was very surprised with the cost, so I purchased the unit, which they showed me operating on their factory floor before delivering and set up at my house. They removed my old unit and made this a very easy operation. I would recommend to anybody Wind River Spas and the service that they provide. I did recommend to a friend and he bought a new spa just this week.

Rick, It's been a little over a month since we had our spa put in and we just wanted to let you know how happy we are with our new Windriver Spa. This is our second Windriver Spa, the first one was before you actually owned the company. We love the new spa with the maintenance free skirting and very little chemicals needed. Owning my own spa has been a lifelong dream of mine. I was having lunch with a coworker and mentioned my desire to get a spa, and he referred me to Wind River Spas. I got in touch with them and Tyler came out to my house to look over the installation site and discuss which model would be right for me. Once I got my HOA & city approvals and permits done I went to the showroom to order my spa. The guys there were very helpful; there was no hard sales pitch and they didn't try to upsell me on features I didn't need. They gave me my delivery date and the contact info for their recommended electrician. About two weeks before the delivery date I noticed that my patio slab was a bit uneven, so I contacted Wind River and they went out of their way to get some guys out to my house to install one of their perma-shims without pushing out my originally scheduled delivery date. On the morning of the delivery date the delivery guys and the electricians arrived punctually to do the installation and hookup. All the installation was done efficiently, and before leaving they gave me tutorial on using and caring for the spa. The electricians did a professional job and charged me a reasonable amount for the work. A few days after the installation, Rick the owner contacted me to see if I had any questions and to make sure that I was completely satisfied with my purchase. I really appreciated this touch of class; it showed that he stands behind his products and has a commitment to his customers. I've been using the spa almost every day since, and I love it! It looks great, it's built well, and designed to withstand Colorado's climate. It's the middle of winter and it's not having much of an impact on my electricity bill at all. There are cheaper options out there when buying a spa but I believe you can't go wrong with Wind River--you'll get a well-crafted spa that is built to last.

After about a year of researching, we set our sights on a Windriver Spa and it’s one of the best investments we have made. We have had our spa for over a year and we still use it at least 3-4 times a week. We are glad that we did not skimp on the number of jets, as the therapeutic aspect of this tub has been so important for us. Also important has been the ease of maintenance (or really lack maintenance needed). The purchase process was simple and the delivery crew friendly and helpful. Since installation they have quickly responded to any questions we have had while adjusting to our first spa. I would highly recommend buying from this local, family owned business. Thanks again! We were relaxing in our Sierra model Wind River Spa last night and as I was getting a wonderful massage on my broken neck and torn shoulder from a snowmobile wreck last winter, I realized that we have had a perfect experience with our spa.  It was installed in September, 2007 at our home in Winter Park and it has performed flawlessly ever since.  The inside finish has stayed as new, all the circulating jets still work, the pumps are as strong as ever, and the exterior finish still looks good.  The spa cover still looks nearly new as I treat it a couple of time a year with a vinyl conditioner and 3M "303" protectorant.  I run the spa continuously 365 days a year maintaining a constant 104 degree temperature while we are here, otherwise it is set at 60 degrees.  The low speed circulating pump is an energy saving feature I appreciate and is probably one of the reasons the high speed pumps have performed so well.  If other spas perform this well, hats off to them, but I am one happy person who decided to purchase your spa nearly eight years ago.  Best wishes for your continued success.
